Made By Computers™ (“MBC”) offers labels and other digital products to the general public to address ethical issues around the use of artificial intelligence generated work. MBC looks to protect the privacy of its users, as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We believe privacy is your right. Here are a few other fundamental principles:

Collection of information is done with consideration and we only collect information when necessary to provide our products.
Access to your personal information is provided on a need-to-know basis, consistent with legal requirements.

This Privacy Policy describes how we gather information, why we gather information, the types of data and information that we collect, access, and retain.

1. Applicability & Definitions.

A. Applicability. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information received or collected by MBC when you use the MBC website (madebycomputers.com) and all associated subdomains.

"We," "Us," and "Our" refer to MBC.
"You," or "User" refers to you, the end user of MBC products.
"Products" refer to the MBC website and other digital offerings.
"Partners" refer to third-party entities that form a partnership with MBC.

You are not required to provide personal information if requested. However, in many cases we will not be able to provide you with our products or respond to requests you may have without the necessary personal information.

Personalization. For example, your account information may be used to personalize your experience using our Products.

Use is necessary to fulfill our commitments to you under the MBC Terms and Conditions or other agreements necessary for administering our Products. For example, your account information to help reset your MBC credentials.

A. How We Share Information. MBC does not sell personal information of its users.

Partnership Agreements. We may share your information with partners requiring it to provide services to MBC or you. This includes Partners that help us provide our Products and those that help us understand and improve our Products. 5. Information Retention.

We only retain your personal information for as long as it is required in the use of our Products. We work to destroy your information when we no longer need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it (as previously described) and are not legally obligated to keep it. Deleted content may remain on our backups and caches until purged.

You have certain choices when it comes to your information. You may choose to:

Set Your Browser to Reject Cookies. You may configure your browser to remove or reject browser cookies before using MBC Products. However, rejecting cookies may impact certain functionalities in MBC Products.
Close Your Account. You may choose to close your account at any time. In the event your account is close, we may continue to retain your information as described in Section 5. Information Retention. For example, your information may be used if we need to comply with legal obligations.
Unsubscribe. If you elect to receive e-mail communications from MBC and you're within to unsubscribe from our mailing list, please follow the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.

9. California Privacy Rights.

We do not review, control, or monitor the privacy practices of these websites, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Such website may use cookies to collect data or use this data in ways we do not. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or information or materials on these other external websites. Please read the privacy policies of these websites for information about their standards. The pretense of these external links not be seen to as support for the content or opinions they contain.
